Group Fitness Class Descriptions
Ab Blaster: A 30 minute abdominal and core training class. Get your mid section toned and conditioned in this fun class.
All in One: You’ll get a little of everything in this class. Calorie burning cardio, toning with a variety equipment and also some flexibility. A well-rounded workout for all.
Aqua Aerobics: An energizing, low impact water fitness class that combines both strength training and cardiovascular conditioning exercises.
Body STAR: Work your body and become a STAR with this ultimate muscular challenge. This class will use a series of equipment used to focus on functional strength and flexibility.
Boot Camp: This class is the ultimate workout for the cross trainer. We will challenge your agility, speed, strength and endurance. This is a great workout for cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength.
Cycle: Just start pedaling and have our instructors take you on a 60 minute ride to health and wellness. All levels welcome. Introductory classes available.
Gentle Yoga: Perfect for those new to yoga or those just looking to stretch, lengthen tight muscles, unwind and breathe.
Intro to Cycle: Appropriate for any age and fitness level and those new to cycle. You will be taken step by step through the set up and different positions used in a cycling class.
Mat Pilates: Pilates exercises focus on your “center” (abdominal, waist, lower back and hips). Improve postural awareness, breath work, core strength and flexibility. All levels welcome.
Member/Guest Hour: Join us for complimentary coffee and snacks for members and their guests.
Pickleball/Bocci: Pickleball might be one of the fastest growing sports that no one knows about! With a combination of tennis and ping pong, pickle ball is played on a hard surface with a racquet and polymer wiffle ball. This game is easy to pick up and can be competitive or just for fun!
Strength and Tone: This class is designed to increase physical strength through weight-bearing and resistance exercise. May use dumbbells, bands, balls and body weight exercises.
Tai Chi: Tai Chi is beneficial for defense training but more important its health benefits. Balance and agility are challenged and improved during this slow moving martial art technique for all ages.
Yoga: Help strengthen your core and lower back with exercises while you create flexibility and alignment through yoga postures focusing on the breath.
Zumba: The Zumba Fitness program is a Latin-Inspired, calorie burning, feel it to the core fitness party that leaves you feeling energized and exhilarated. The program fuses international rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be fun and easy.
Zumba Gold: Zumba Gold is a full body workout at a slower pace than Zumba. It is ideal for beginners, seniors, and anyone that enjoys International music and dance movement. Come join the party and learn this fun effective way to workout.
