Running and Swimming on the Spectrum
Running on the Spectrum will provide a safe, entertaining environment for children on the autism spectrum and their families to get some great exercise during the cold wintry months. The program will run on Sundays starting January 5th, from 11:00-11:45am. The program is for those aged 5-18. Parents are welcome to run with their child, but it is not required. There will be volunteers attending all programs to help assist the children as needed.
Swimming on the Spectrum is to provide children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) an opportunity to play in the water and work on their swimming skills in a safe and friendly environment. The program is for children ages 5-12 years old. This class will run for 4 weeks on Sundays from 11:00am-11:45am. Parents are asked to stay with their child but are not required to be in the water. Participants are not required to be members of Star Hill. Space is limited to 15 spots.
