GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
AQUA An energizing, low impact water fitness that combines both strength training and cardiovascular conditioning exercises.
CARDIO
Kickboxing This class combines kicks and punches with athletic drills to push your cardio and muscular endurance to the edge.
CYCLE Just start pedaling and have our instructors take you on a 60 minute ride to Health and Wellness
STRENGTH & TONE
Strength & Tone This class is designed to increase physical strength through weight-bearing and resistance exercise.
Body STAR Work your body and become a STAR with this ultimate muscular challenge. This class will use a series of equipment used to focus on functional strength and flexibility. Movements are performed slowly to isolate muscles and improve endurance.
Bootcamp This class is the ultimate workout for the cross-trainer. We will challenge your agility, speed, strength, and endurance. This is a great workout for cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength. (All levels)
Body Construction Receive the ultimate body conditioning workout! Tone, burn calories, and strengthen and lengthen your body. Class will enhance your posture, core/functional strength, agility, power and cardiovascular endurance. Class is motivating and challenging, so be prepared to sweat. Great for fitness enthusiasts and athletes!
YOGA/PILATES
Yoga Helps strengthen your core and lower back with exercises while you create flexibility and alignment through Yoga postures focusing on the breath.
Mat Pilates Pilates mat exercises focus on your "center," (abdominal, waist, lower back and hips). Improve postural awareness, breath work, core strength and flexibility.
ZUMBA The Zumba® Fitness programis a Latin-Inspired, calorie-burning, feel-it-to-the-core fitness party thatleaves you feeling energized and exhilarated. The program fuses internationalrhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to befun and easy. The class features interval training techniques where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt the bodywhile burning fat.
