Lifeguarding Classes
Lifeguard Certification Course (for NEW Lifeguards)
All participants must be at least 15 years old and be able to swim 12 laps continuously.
This new Red Cross course format has the participants doing much of the classroom portion at home prior to coming for the swimming portion.
The facility portion will take place at Star Hill on:
Saturday, April 17th (12-7pm),
Sunday, April 18th (12-7pm),
Member fee is $379 and Non Member fee is $399.
Please contact Cara Keay at Star Hill (860-871-8800) for more information. Space is limited to 8 and registrations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.
The American Red Cross has approved Lifeguard Certification classes to begin again. By the nature of the training in the swimming pool, it is very difficult to maintain social distancing at all times. Please take this into consideration before registering. Participants will be required to wear a mask whenever practical.

Re-Certification Course
We do not have a re-certification course scheduled at this time.
All participants must have a signed waiver on file with Star Hill Family Athletic Center.
