Star Hill / CFC Program

2021/22

Star Hill Family Athletic Center and CFC are excited to announce the continuation of their partnership as both organizations continue to grow and develop youth soccer in Connecticut. Star Hill's state-of-the-art facility and resources, coupled with CFC’s entrenched position in the premier soccer landscape, allows this partnership to offer an unparalleled path for development of young kids interested in the game.  The two clubs share the same values and commitment to providing the highest caliber of sports programming for youth in the region.

The focus of the Star Hill/CFC organization is the development of U8-U10 players (born in 2012-2015), where we continue our mission of creating both a family friendly and educational experience. Our mission is to instruct young players to help hone their skills to be the best they can be, while also helping them with opportunities to grow in soccer. With this in mind, we’re very excited to add CFC’s extensive background to help accomplish this goal.

Star Hill/CFC announces Tryouts for 2021/22

This program is a collaboration between Star Hill and Connecticut Football Club (CFC), and will run throughout the 2021/22 soccer year (Fall, Winter, & Spring).  The program will be a cumulative soccer experience for motivated players consisting of instructional clinics, weekly games, and a more rigid, competitive team structure.  Teams will be directed by the same coaching staff throughout the year, with a focus on improving skills in every aspect of the game, both individually and as a team.

CFC Announces FREE Clinics for Players born between 2012-2015

Connecticut Football Club (CFC) will be running 3 separate free soccer clinics for interested players who would like to pursue and learn more about club soccer. These clinics will be for Boys and Girls born 2015-2012.

Clinics will be run by CFC Staff Coaches and are designed to give new and still learning players a fun and safe environment to fall in love with the game of soccer.  Each clinic will consist of a fun warm-up followed by several drills and small sided games towards the end of the session.

Players will be able to register for one of the 3 clinics and each clinic will be capped at 20 players max. You will be able to select the date of a clinic and register for it with no cost. You must register to participate for insurance and logistical purposes.

Clinics will be held on the follow dates: 4/28, 5/5, and 5/12

Location: Veterans Memorial Soccer Fields, Manchester, CT

Time: For May 5th clinic, all participants will play from 5-6pm

For May 12th, 5-6pm (2015/2014) and 6:15-7:15pm (2013/2012)
